Swedish Massage
This is a classic way to reduce stress, relieve muscle tension and improve circulation. Swedish massage involves effleurage (long gliding strokes), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (percussion) and friction. This type of bodywork can be experienced in a lighter or stronger style depending on the individual's preference.

1 hour .... $80

1-1/2 hour.... $120

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue Massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscles, tendons and ligaments of the body. It uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish Massage but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is important to know that a massage does not need to be hard or painful for it to be deep. After a deep tissue massage, sore and tired muscles often feel revived and the body may feel as if it had a demanding workout. Deep tissue work can be especially helpful for specific areas of muscle tension, spasms, or “knots”.

1-1/2 hour .....$160

2 hour ...........$210

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is an ancient eastern form of bodywork that combines deep direct pressure techniques with soft tissue work. Shiatsu is exceptionally effective for stress-reduction, reducing fatigue and alleviating a wide range of ailments from specific injuries to more general symptoms of poor health. It can help release tight muscles, expand flexibility and range of motion, and is a good form of preventive maintenance. Shiatsu can be done on a massage table but is typically done on the floor using a mat. Shiatsu is a relaxing treatment and regular sessions can help prevent the build-up of stress.

1 hour ..... $70

Massage Cupping

Massage cupping uses suction and negative pressure to help to drain toxins, loosen adhesions, facilitate blood flow, and stimulate the body. A cup that is used as a vacuum is placed on the clients skin by a means of heat or suction. The underlying tissue will be pulled into the cup. The cup is usually left on the meridian or client’s skin for a short time. The vacuum that is created allows the blood to come into that area where the tissue can receive all the nutrients the blood has to offer and to bring Qi to the area. Cupping is a wonderful addition to any massage.

Additional $10 when added to a Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage
